Producing closer to home allows us to oversee every detail while supporting skilled artisans and reducing unnecessary transportation.

We believe fewer, better-made garments create a more meaningful wardrobe.

From Ocean Waste to New Life

Our swimwear is crafted using recycled nylon, including ECONYL®, a regenerated fibre created from waste materials such as discarded fishing nets, textile scraps, industrial plastic waste and carpets destined for landfill.

Rather than becoming pollution, these materials are recovered, regenerated and transformed into premium-quality nylon with the same performance and durability as virgin nylon.

Through initiatives such as Healthy Seas, thousands of kilograms of fishing nets and marine waste are recovered every year and given a second life through recycling.

Our impact

For every Bold Womban swimsuit produced, approximately four to five plastic bottles are given a second life through recycled materials.

Our initial production runs have enabled:

  • The reuse of materials equivalent to more than 4,000 plastic bottles.
  • The use of recycled nylon and recycled polyester instead of virgin alternatives.
  • An reduction of more than 2.4 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions
